This Tomokita-style recipe has been crafted to be easily replicated in kitchens worldwide, bringing a taste of Thailand to your table no matter where you are.

Ingredients (Serves 4)
Glass noodles
150g peeled shrimp
50g ground pork
3 tbsp Sweet chili sauce, to taste
2 tbsp Fish sauce (Nam pla), to taste
2 tbsp Lemon juice, to taste
Cilantro, to taste
1 tsp Chili pepper, to taste
1 tsp Chopped garlic, to taste
Cherry tomatoes (optional)
Salt, a pinch
1/2 tablespoon sake
1 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions
Prepare the glass noodles
Soak the glass noodles in a bowl of water and microwave at 600W for 5 minutes. After heating, cut the noodles into bite-sized lengths.Season the shrimp
Sprinkle the peeled shrimp with a pinch of salt and 1/2 tablespoon of sake to season.Make the dressing
In a bowl, mix chili pepper, fish sauce, sweet chili sauce, and lemon juice to create the dressing.Cook the meat and shrimp
Heat oil in a frying pan and stir-fry the ground pork and shrimp with chopped garlic.Combine all ingredients
In a large bowl, mix the prepared glass noodles, stir-fried pork and shrimp, cherry tomatoes (if using), cilantro, and the dressing. Toss well to combine.Chill and let flavors meld
Refrigerate for about an hour to allow the flavors to meld together.
Tip
Using sweet chili sauce helps achieve an authentic Thai flavor. Feel free to add your favorite vegetables to customize the dish. Enjoy creating your own version of Yam Woon Sen!
